Keeping cool
The very hot summer of 2022 was a challenge for the Hospital’s hard-working nurses and the League of Friends was pleased to be able to source and deliver a Tower Fan for the Nurses’ Staff Room just as temperatures began to rise.
Rise and recline chairs
It’s important that Ward patients are able to enjoy time in the dayroom as part of their rehabilitation, but it hasn’t always been easy for the Nurses to help them in and out of the chairs. The League was delighted to help by donating two new Monza ‘rise and recline’ chairs, supplied by S J Mobility Solutions at Bufflers Holt.
Christmas 2022
The League was also pleased to give Christmas Vouchers to all the Nurses who work at the Hospital, and there were presents for all the patients as well.
