House to house collections

“We hear a lot about austerity and the possible effects on charity fundraising and so it is very pleasing to be able to report that our recent house to house collection was as generously supported as ever.  In the Town area, donations were up by 8% at £2346.  This was in no small measure due to the hard work put in by two of our committee members in finding new collectors.

Representation in the surrounding villages is somewhat limited, following the retirement of some of our long-term collectors.  However, £941 was still collected which is a very useful contribution towards our ongoing commitments and support of the hospital.  If you would feel able to to collect in your village, or even to gather a small team of collectors, please do contact us and we will tell you exactly what is involved.”
